Asterisk et système embarqué.


Richard McGravie nous présentera d'un de leurs récents projets: Installer Asterisk sur une carte PCI.
Il nous parlera des détails techniques et les possibilités qu'un tel produit offre.

Richard McGravie est président de Positron Telecommunication Systems Inc. Cette entreprise est spécialisé pour la fabrication d'équipement VOIP/TDM.
Cette entreprise est situé à Montréal.


Note: cette présentation sera faite en Anglais, mais le présentateur comprend le français pour les questions.

Richard is the founder and President of Positron Telecom, which produces innovative VoIP equipment for Telephony applications. He was previously a Sales Engineer, Territory Sales Manager and Product Manager at Eicon Networks and later Dialogic Corporation. From there he went on to start his own Linux consulting firm, which developed solutions based on OpenWrt and Asterisk projects, and created a line of embedded appliances at his company Bulletendpoints.

This sponsored event will show how Positron has created the market's first SIP enabled PCI card - no more ZAP / DAHDI - and embedded Asterisk on the board itself. Richard will be discussing how a SIP enabled PCI card allows you to:
